About Me

Faces around Cape Town. - FACT is a partnership — part community project, part photographic expression. FACT is an interpretation of life in and around Cape Town. It is a progressive venture with colourful photographs taken by myself of characters around our beautiful city. I have chosen to present these photographs on fabric. The fact range includes limited edition hand bags and prints as well as cushions, cards, coasters, paperweights, scented soy wax candles and keyrings. In addition is a range of bags, cushions, lamps, coasters and paperweights with beautiful images of south african scenes - wild life, farmlands and flora. When purchasing a limited edition product from faces around cape town, you assist in providing books for the schools that the children from Rooidakke Township attend.

Storage bags

The buffalo image was taken one evening in the Kruger. We were trying to get back to camp before the gates closed when a herd of buffalo chose to chill on the road.  We were held up, but it presented a great opportunity for photographs.

  I  came around the corner (on my own in a tiny car) in Kruger National Park near Pretoriuskop and there he was.  A real beauty.  I was on my way to pick up family at the local airport.  Needless to say I was late.

These photographs was taken on a sunset drive in Kruger.
 We came upon this beautiful leopard who casually crossed the road right in front of us,
 heading for an old fallen tree trunk where he settled himself.

I took this picture while we were reversing away from this elephant.
 We came upon him further up the road, he made no attempt to go into the bush,
so we ended up reversing for at least 800meters.
