About Me

Faces around Cape Town. - FACT is a partnership — part community project, part photographic expression. FACT is an interpretation of life in and around Cape Town. It is a progressive venture with colourful photographs taken by myself of characters around our beautiful city. I have chosen to present these photographs on fabric. The fact range includes limited edition hand bags and prints as well as cushions, cards, coasters, paperweights, scented soy wax candles and keyrings. In addition is a range of bags, cushions, lamps, coasters and paperweights with beautiful images of south african scenes - wild life, farmlands and flora. When purchasing a limited edition product from faces around cape town, you assist in providing books for the schools that the children from Rooidakke Township attend.

Fact moves into its third week as a Covid Mask Maker

FACT Pleated and Beak Masks  Image - agies

FACT DESIGNS is now in their third week of making masks and so far all going well.
WE have introduced four categories - floral kingdom, wild life portraits,  patterns and custom.
Channeled and molded by the new challenges imposed on us by the Covid 19 lockdown,  Fact Designs has had to get creative and come up with some new  ideas.  So I chose to make masks using images from my existing collection,  therefor still staying true to my ethos and style. As masks are now mandatory in South Africa I knew that every small business with a sewing machine would be making them and the market would be flooded.
I had to come up with something different that would make FACT masks stand out.
Luckily my fabric printer lives at my home so I was able to get to work  during lockdown and eventually came up with a double layered pleated mask showing my unique images.
