About Me

Faces around Cape Town. - FACT is a partnership — part community project, part photographic expression. FACT is an interpretation of life in and around Cape Town. It is a progressive venture with colourful photographs taken by myself of characters around our beautiful city. I have chosen to present these photographs on fabric. The fact range includes limited edition hand bags and prints as well as cushions, cards, coasters, paperweights, scented soy wax candles and keyrings. In addition is a range of bags, cushions, lamps, coasters and paperweights with beautiful images of south african scenes - wild life, farmlands and flora. When purchasing a limited edition product from faces around cape town, you assist in providing books for the schools that the children from Rooidakke Township attend.

Flukse Veetjies Day Care Centre summer 2012

Flukse Voetjies (healthy small feet) Day Care Centre, situated in Grabouw are the latest receivers of books from FACT.
The centre is run by Tessa, she has approx 35 children at present ranging from two to five years. Tessa started the day care centre two years ago in the store room at the back of her house. The creche is open all day and Tessa makes sure that each child gets home safely in the evening.
Because of the high demand for creches in the area,Tessa is now converting her home into a creche for additional space.
Children from the surrounding townships attend the day care centre.
